A cinema in a suitcase There’s a moment we’ve now watched thousands of times. Someone sits down on a swivel chair, puts on a headset, and their whole posture changes. They lean back. They look around. Sometimes they laugh out loud in a room full of strangers. They are drifting away for a while. That moment is what Poetics is built around. We curate and distribute high-quality immersive experiences through new media. At scale. That means we bring location-based VR (LBVR) screenings to festivals, brand activations, and gallery events. Anywhere an audience gathers. Plug-and-play setups, programs running 10 to 50 minutes, and end-to-end service from installation to pack-down. The immersive field is full of experiments. That’s why we focus on firsthand curation from hundreds of titles across our collaborating distributors. We’ve featured 19 up until today in more than 5.000 screenings during the past 7 months. With a 4.92/5 average satisfaction score, an NPS of 9.6/10, and over 250 five-star Google reviews. We’re proud of these numbers because immersive media has a reputation problem. We build our own tools. Scaling live operations takes software, so we write it ourselves. Our event management system already runs every event we do. And our own streaming platform, with a creator-facing side for self-service content management, is a working prototype. A new kind of storytelling supported by immersive new media. If you’d like a Poetics screening at your location, say hello@poeticsvr.com or visit poeticsvr.com.

I had a lot of fun attending the @theblackmirror_xp immersive experience now available in @vieuxportmtl at @infinity.xps From the moment the pre-show begins, you’re pulled straight into that unsettling, interactive dystopian universe that @blackmirror_series does so well. And once the VR experience starts, it takes everything to another level. Designed for groups of up to 6 people, this one-hour immersive adventure is a unique mix of storytelling, interaction, and technology. One of my favourite moments? Interacting with the AI Life Agent… who looked like me. You’ll see that in my next video! Whether you’re a longtime fan of the show or completely new to the Black Mirror universe, this is such a memorable and original VR experience to discover in @montreal. Winner of the 2026 Special Mention Award at @competitionimmersive @festivaldecannes Produced by @banijaylive @banijaylivestudio @univr.se @tristandesplechin @francoisdebrugada @misterfuzzz Thanks to @phi.officiel and @myriamachard for the invitation!

KATÁBASIS – Red Carpet in Cannes A few images from the red carpet. A very strange and beautiful feeling: bringing a project born underground, all the way to the lights of Cannes. It still feels unreal, and honestly very moving. Happy to have lived this moment with friends, collaborators, producers and all the people who helped KATÁBASIS exist. From underground to the red carpet <3 Thanks @festivaldecannes @competitionimmersive _______________________________________ KATÁBASIS – Tapis rouge à Cannes Quelques images du tapis rouge.

Festival de Cannes – Best Immersive Work Award has been awarded to KATÁBASIS. “Magnificent, profoundly human, authentic and emotionally powerful, allowing us to reconnect with what unites apparently ordinary human beings.” @blancali - President of the Jury To the international underground and urbex community, to all the friends, collaborators, and anonymous people who opened (or pick) doors, shared stories, and to everyone who poured their brain juice into this project with me: Thank you! KATÁBASIS - Fragments from Cannes A few behind-the-scenes images, somewhere between glitter, microphones, logos, then pizza, bow ties, and still a bit of urbex! An important and unforgettable moment. Merci!
