Most bodybuilders step on stage to be APPROVED.

That’s why so many look scared, stiff, and boring.

I’ve always believed the stage should be the opposite.

You’re there to PERFORM.

To entertain.
To mesmerize.
To inspire.
To educate.
To give the audience something they’ll remember.

When your mindset shifts from “I hope they like me” to “I’m here to give them a show”, your entire presence changes.

You stop looking scared.

You start commanding the stage.

You turn heads.

You create an experience.

And people appreciate you for it.

Don’t step on stage asking for approval. Step on stage ready to GIVE.

Showing up for myself🌟

Social media shows one side of things. We all know that life is not always a bed of roses. Many of us are multidimensional and have had happy times as well as the most traumatic of experiences.

I've been going through some injuries that are painful but I still keep showing up for myself. Giving myself grace. I think that's the hardest part because we tend to lift up our friends and family, but forget about ourselves. Earth angels surround us and guide us on this journey called life.

I'm thankful for every single person in my life that has always supported me. Family may not always be blood, but it definitely is strong. I have a team that helps me with my recovery every single time. Sending a huge shout out to:

Every man needs combat sports in his life💥🤛😤. Getting on the mats builds real physical strength and that deep, quiet confidence of knowing exactly what you’re capable of when pushed 🐲🐲🐲. Street smarts aside☠️🕸️🎲, martial arts gives you the grit to take life’s hit and keep getting back up, no matter how heavy it gets🛡️🛡️🛡️. Modern life loaded us up with bills and obligations, but that ancient warrior spirit inside us hasn’t gone anywhere⚔️⚔️⚔️. Training hard is how you feed that spirit, stay balanced, and forge yourself🔥🔥🔥 into a real man.🏔️🏔️🏔️
@philipdiz you are no doubt WARRIOR , so proud of you and being your friend 🤜♥️🤛

Workout 2 for the day was chest and shoulders with the one and only @badassroxx1 Every exercise had a push-up variation as the superset. The last video is sped up to 2x speed, each set took about 2m 15s. We did 3 sets. Safe to say she smoked my chest and shoulders!!🔥😮‍💨You can hear her enjoying my struggle! Thank you @ifbbprolizmo for capturing some of the beat down. It was so great to finally catch up! Love you homie! #chest #shoulders #npc #physique #fitover50
