3 BODY TYPES. 3 DIFFERENT BUILDS. SAME POTENTIAL. 💪😂

Ever notice how some people eat everything in sight and barely gain weight, while others just LOOK at pizza and feel heavier? 🍕😭

Welcome to BODY TYPES 101! 📚

Let’s break it down!

🩷 ECTOMORPH — The Hard Gainer
Typically leaner with a smaller frame. May find gaining muscle and weight challenging.

AKA: The friend who eats like it’s Thanksgiving every day. 😂

💪 MESOMORPH — The Athletic Build
Naturally more muscular appearance with a balanced frame.

AKA: The friend who looks at a dumbbell and grows shoulders. Must be nice. 🙄

🔥 ENDOMORPH — The Powerhouse
Typically broader, stockier build with a tendency to carry more body fat.

AKA: Built like a tank and ready to move some weight! 🏋️

🧠 BUT HERE’S THE IMPORTANT PART!

These are traditional body-type descriptions, NOT scientifically fixed categories or limits on your potential.

Most people have a combination of characteristics.

Regardless of your build, the fundamentals remain:

✅ Progressive overload
✅ Proper nutrition
✅ Quality recovery
✅ Consistency over perfection

GENETICS MAY INFLUENCE YOUR STARTING POINT. DISCIPLINE HELPS DETERMINE YOUR PROGRESS.

I’ve experienced being overweight, losing fat, and building muscle. One thing I’ve learned?

Your current physique doesn’t define your future potential.

At CMT Fitness, we don’t train labels. We train PEOPLE. Every age, shape, size, and fitness level deserves a personalized approach.

Because fitness isn’t about becoming somebody else. It’s about becoming the best version of YOU. ❤️

20 MINUTES. 4 CIRCUITS. ONE VERY HUMBLING EXPERIENCE. 💀😂

Who said you need 90 minutes in the gym to get a solid workout?!

Today I gave myself 20 minutes to destroy some back and biceps… and somewhere around minute 14, I started questioning my own life decisions. 😂

Pull-ups, rows, pulldowns, curls, and just enough rest to remember why I started.

But here’s the point. 👇

You don’t always need MORE time. You need to make BETTER use of the time you have.

Life gets busy. Schedules get crazy. And sometimes 20 minutes is all you’ve got.

That’s not an excuse to skip. That’s an opportunity to adapt.

Because fitness isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, putting in the work, and building habits that last.

💪 20 minutes of intentional training beats 20 minutes of finding excuses.

🔥 SAVE this workout for your next busy day.

👇 BE HONEST: Could you survive this 20-minute challenge, or are you tapping out at minute 10? 😂

This isn’t a filter. This isn’t good lighting. This is 20 years of excuses finally losing to one decision.

Everybody wants to tell you it gets harder after 40. Cool story. Nobody told my glutes that.

Age was never the problem. It was the story I kept telling myself about age. “Too late.” “Too old.” “Too much has changed.” All lies I sold myself at a discount.

45 and in the best shape of my life — not despite the years, because I finally stopped wasting them.

If you’re out here waiting for the “right time” to start — I’ve got news. It already passed. Start anyway.

Drop “READY” below and let’s build your comeback story. 👑

It’s been a few months since my client deadlifted, but after going over form he dug deep and produced a PR. He was nervous because it was a big jump in weight, but he trusts me. The video tells the story of what can happen on the other side of nervousness.
If you’ve always felt pain after deadlifting, dm me. If you want to get stronger with deadlifts, dm me. #powerlifting #strength #personaltraining #deadlift #muscle

Staying fit in your 60s is all about consistency and listening to your body. Gentle, regular movement—like brisk walking, swimming, or cycling—helps maintain endurance, strength, and balance.. Prioritize protein-rich meals, hydration, and adequate rest to support recovery. Small, sustainable routines beat drastic changes, and regular check-ins with a healthcare provider can tailor a plan that fits your needs. You’re never too old to move—and every active day adds to your quality of life.
