This is something out of a dream, to be able to live a life that is this fruitful and prolific is something that I am extremely grateful for. I used to dream of the CHANCE to have times such as this. Day 1 at the 2026 MLB All-Star Village was nothing but love. ⚾️🏟️🎤 There’s no better feeling than connecting with the people. From taking photos with new supporters to meeting so many amazing kids and families, every smile and conversation made today unforgettable. Dear Odunde 2026. I am lost for words, I had some of my favorite interactions of the year. I have to say thank you to everyone who I crossed paths with on Sunday June 14th, 2026 and thank you to the Odunde festival for letting me rock out. I am EXTREMELY GRATEFUL 💎 @odundefestival Some of the most memorable interactions that happen that day were… 1. I had a gentleman pull up on me while his mom was on the phone and tell me “my mom is a huge fan of yours” and I had to get on that phone and talk to her personally. She told me “ I wish I was there to give you a hug and I said “save it for next time, I got you” 2. A young woman and a male colleague of hers approached me and said “ I have been following you/watching you for about a year and some change now, but this is the first time we are meeting in person and this is crazy because I love your songs and your work all around” these interaction made my entire day. 3. Had another person approach me and say ever since we saw you play last year at Odunde 2025 you are all my daughter listens too when she plays her video games. They reached out to me and said “there is only one person we could call for this part of the show.” This is definitely one for the ages. I will remember this performance for the rest of my career/journey. I dont know when or if we’ll see something like this again. The fact that I was also able to wear a jacket that I designed for a performance like this makes it even cooler. Thank you to all the other individuals who were involved in making this happen.
