Best run of the night 🏁

Two weeks off of shooting did some good for my hip. Finding my groove with the new M&P competitor and feeling happy with the movement. Learning I don't need to squat a grand to be successful in this space. That and it's always a great night with the boys. Onto the next one 🦍

Starting to cook 🔥
League night with the boys never disappoints. First night running the M&P and safe to say we're onto something. Felt so connected in my hands and this new ammo from @trustyourammo is absolutely money. Hip was feeling solid, vibes were good all night. Best finish to date. 10/10 recommend

Perspective is everything 🎯
My best runs still seem to be my slowest but in the grand scheme of this shooting journey, I'm realizing my best scores are improving & my worst runs are dramatically better still. The ceiling of the floor is now starting to rise. Just gotta find the accuracy once I push speed. Let's see what month 5 brings.

Can't rush the process 📈

One of my better stages from today's match. Starting to find my ability to move through stages, still trying to figure out speed vs accuracy. Way too many Charlies today and the score reflects it. Remembering this is only month 5. Showing signs of potential, just need more time to develop. Back to work 🦍

Recovering ❤️‍🩹

Hip still ain't ready but finding ways to get some work done. Not my best but definitely not my worst. Feeling locked in with my competition pistol after adding the new @grayguns spring. Few days of rest before the next 6 stage match at the WAC.

Onto the next one 🦍

Stage 3 from Saturdays @floridamultigun Match 🎯

Not my fastest stage but by far my favorite. Moving into Rifle & Pistol has me wanting to find a 2 gun match asap. This was fun.

Great time with @_tactically_acquired and @xscalpa running at a great meet by @floridamultigun at @manateegunandarchery by the way. Don’t forget to make sure you’re not on 10x magnification on short range targets. Other than that a great stage to run.

Shooters shoot 🎯

First run with my @abnormalgunworks Fusion XP Comp Royal back from the shop & she's running like a champ. She real fast, unfortunately I was not. Hip still giving me some trouble trying to move but wanted to gauge pain tolerance. Had to set some expectations going into this weekends 3 gun match. Won't be winning anything but think I can show some dramatic improvement from my last match. That's the goal!

The work continues ⚓️

Despite tearing my hip on stage 1, I did my best to salvage the day. Not being able to move my leg definitely forced me to be creative finding ways to make up speed. Not an ideal day but taking it as a learning experience. Time to rest and hit the rehab. I'll be back to moving soon.

Little bit of Friday night action with the fellas over at WAC.

Looking forward to my first classifier Sunday.

First match running the M&P with @tampagunwerx K9 Ports and man is it night and day from a standard threaded comp. Highly recommend checking them out.

Tuesday Night Practice 🎯

My only solid run of the night. Have to keep reminding myself not to get ahead of the journey. Im still very new to this sport & the speed I desire comes with years of practice. Need more reps drilling all the little details.

Crazy part about all this is even though I suck at this, walking away from each session I'm happy. It's a very different feeling from powerlifting where if I didn't bench 700 I was frustrated. Weird dynamic but mentally been so refreshing to start over.

Onto the next one 🦍
