✨ AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS – FRIDAY HAIR & MAKEUP UPDATE ✨

An important update for all clients who have registered for hair and makeup appointments on Friday at the Australian Championships. 💕

As I will also be competing myself on Friday, I need to prioritise my own dancing commitments and plan appointments around my events.

💄 FRIDAY MORNING – MAKEUP ONLY

Kristy and I will be focusing on makeup appointments only on Friday morning.

💇🏼‍♀️ FRIDAY HAIR – THURSDAY EVENING

Friday competition hairstyles will be scheduled for Thursday evening, allowing clients to sleep in their styles ready for Friday’s events.

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee Friday morning hair appointments as I won’t know my own dancing times until the official schedule is released.

I wanted to communicate this early so that anyone who would prefer not to sleep in their hairstyle has plenty of notice to make alternative arrangements.

🗓️ APPOINTMENT TIMES & ALLOCATIONS

All appointment times will be confirmed once the official competition schedule is released.

I will also be offering hair appointments on Friday afternoon/evening for Saturday’s events, subject to my own dancing schedule and availability.

💕 Thank you for your understanding!

I absolutely love being able to help everyone look and feel beautiful on the competition floor, but as a competitor myself, I also need to make sure I can give my own dancing the attention it deserves.

Thank you for your flexibility and continued support of Dancefloor Elegance Co. I appreciate you all! ✨

Come with me to a double comp weekend! Odyssey in QLD and the NSW Open in Sydney!

Thankyou for having me! I had the best time out in the ballroom in both states ✨🪩🤍

Another fantastic weekend at the North Queensland Dance Championships. ✨

A huge thank you to Kevin and Riana for putting together such a wonderful competition. Your hard work, attention to detail and genuine care for every competitor make NQDC a competition we always look forward to. You truly go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome.

Congratulations to all the competitors who took to the floor—it was a pleasure to share the weekend with so many talented dancers.

Thank you to my dance partner and coaches for your guidance, support and belief in the process. Every competition is another opportunity to learn, grow and keep improving.

Looking forward to the next one! 🤍

One year ago today I stepped out onto this ballroom floor, at this venue, at this competition not knowing if I actually even wanted to keep doing this.
One year ago I would never recognize the Me from today.
The world of feathers and gowns and heels and diamantés and hair that won’t move in a cyclone is a far cry from a decades long love of rugby fields and scrubs. Yet somehow here I am, able to combine them all.

Thank you to @richardperry5054 & @natalieperry0610 @learn.2.dance for showing me that my baby ballroom steps can become bigger and better.
But this weekend has a special mention and huge thank you to @julie_jones.theinnerdance for her saying a couple of weeks ago ‘let’s dance!’ about a month earlier than we planned!!
And finally - to the wingwoman I didn’t know I needed but couldn’t do without this weekend @angiezingel. Your friendship, laughter, support and hugs mean more than you can ever know.
