@comrade.fezzy3 ~ 'The Time That Remains' (2009) is an autobiographical and historical film about a Palestinian family living under Israeli rule, but the comedic style makes it feel fictional, almost fantastical. And there’s a reason why director ELIA SULEIMAN chose this style. Excerpt from “The Palestinian Film That’s Also Funny” from Projectionist on YouTube.

I shared this video 3-4 years ago on my facebook page, and a mutual by the name of Eli Klein who i met once at a party started commenting that i was sharing Anti semitic propaganda, i went into the history of apartheid and the violence against the palestinians and he ignored everything i said and called it terrosit propaganda. Israeli been silencing Palestinians and Palestinian adjacent people with the antisemitic term for 100 years. Palestinians are the true semites, not some random polish people.
