Today’s pairing is Off Color Brewing’s “Beer for Lounging” matched up with “Sofa” by Smuv.
.
🍺: “Beer for Lounging” by @OffColorBrewing is an American Pale Ale single hopped with US grown Centennial. The flavor is balanced with a grapefruit pith hop bitterness and slightly sweet malt flavor. Off Color’s twist on this style is using mostly pilsner malt, rather than pale, which allows the Cascade to shine. Additionally they ran the wort through whole cone Cascade hops during transfer this method is designed to pull the hop oils out while not getting any of the grassy notes from dry hopping. The name stems from the fact hop pillows used to be used as a sedative to fall asleep. Check out their taproom at @OCMouseTrap and their brewer’s page at @OCRatPack.
.
🎧: “Sofa” by @Smuv_Beats was released in December 2018, and is the beatmakers first solo release. Smuv is a Germany based producer who specializes in laidback dreamy beats that have sort of a psych or sci-fi element to them. Every beat has drums with a prevalent bass line that is filled with loops and textures that really set a mood. Be it guitar, bass, keys, or woodwind the sampled loops are always a treat in a Smuv track. Smuv is part of a beatmaker collective/label called @Con.Comfort and this was released exclusively through @Vinyl_Digital. Features on the album by @Made.in.M & @Clap.Cotton and cover art by @Mimi_Smallls.

IVY 🐩

FINALLY! I may present you my new album which is available now 💿📡

This is probably the record I put in the most work since I not only produced, mixed and mastered all the tracks but also took care about the cover artwork, cassette layout and a little extra animation (slide9)

I really love to be able to upload music like this for almost 10 years. Thanks everyone for tuning in and follow along. You are the best ❤️

There is also a limited hand-numbered cassette tape edition waiting for you on my bandcamp

Much love to my helping hands on this project 🫶🏼
@made.in.m for production on “Cave Canem”
@mimi.smalls.art for cover layout

I hope you enjoy

Artist: @mimi_smallls/ Illustrator + Graphic Designer
