Aho ✨

One whole month here with pajé Ixã and txanas Yaká and Busã from Huni Kuin was pretty intense! We've done many other things during this time except organising retreats, ceremonies, rodas de rapé and other events. 🌈🦅🐆🐍✨️

One of them was a dieta Hãpaya.🪶🌶 It's a ritual where the pajé (shaman) puts chili peppers on your tongue. First of all, it will take away all the toxins and clean your mouth. But all the txanas (singers of Huni Kuin) do it in the jungle because it's a special diet of the txana bird.🦜 This bird is the one who can perfectly imitate all the sounds from the forest. So this diet should help you to open your voice, sing better and also communicate better. 🎶 It's a dieta for at minimum 5 days when there are special rules what to eat and do.

One day, we also played traditional games of Huni Kuin. For me as a European was really interesting and fun to participate in this to see the differences between cultures. 😄 And we danced their traditional celebration dance as well.🌿🐒

Part of our group also made a feitio - preparation of the Nixi Pãe medicin (Ayahuasca).🍷 It was a few days not only full of work but especially music as well (as always). So in the last ceremonies, we had very fresh and strong brew.🐍💮🪘🪇

Haux Haux! Só alegria, só pra cima sempre.
Yuxibu no comando! 💫

Um trecho me atravessou e me fez chorar:
