🟥424 x Puma Concept Collection 🟥 by @birk.w & @suburbanmemories @424inc has been a brand that has continuously caught our attention over the past year with their amazing runway collections and creative footwear. For this conceptual collection we imagined what a collaboration between 424 and @Puma could look like! 424 Speedcat Loafer: A more elegant take designed to mimic the identity of a loafer while still holding the overall shape of a Puma Speedcat. 424 Speedcat High: A high top Speedcat with brass lace ties, premium velvet, and a tumbled leather cover removable via brass buttons and a zipper on the heel. We also include a few clothing items we designed inspired by some of our favorite 424 pieces, let us know what you think! What is your favorite piece from the collection? For this collection we took the approach of choosing two different categories of sweets and creating Puma Speedcats for Candy and Ice Cream. Candy - Inspired by various gummy candies; Swedish Fish, Gummy Sharks, Gummy Eggs, Cola Bottles, and more! Ice cream - Inspired by the variety of flavors and toppings you would see at an ice cream shop; including Mint Chip, Vanilla, Strawberry, waffle cones, and more! 🎰 The Adidas Japan “Casino” Pack by @suburbanmemories & @birk.w. We collaborated again on the Adidas Japan silhouette with the goal of capturing the energy and materials of a casino. For this collection, we wanted to represent two completely different sides of the casino floor. 🍒 “Slots” - Woven scenes and reel symbols on the Three Stripes. ♠️ “Tables” - Green felt suede, vintage cracked leather, and blackjack detailing. 🌸Vans Sk8-Hi Hokusai Collection by @suburbanmemories & @birk.w For this collaboration @birk.w and I both chose a painting by the famous Traditional Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai. They are famous for a few key painting like The Great Wave and Red Fuji. We imagined how these painting could be tastefully translated to sneakers and this is what we came up with! 🦋 Puma Klim “Metamorphosis” Concept Collection by @suburbanmemories & @birk.w Which are you picking, Luna or Metallic Day? This collection is inspired by some of our favorite winged insects! When researching for this collection we found so many beautiful moths and butterflies and took note of the vibrant colors and complex textures that often make up their wings. Luna Moth: A rare moth often found in North America with a light green color with dark maroon accents. Metallic Day Moth: A beautiful moth from South America which features vibrant greens, teals, orange, and black. Let us know which shoe you like more! Air Jordan 4 'Red Wine' Concept This project is a bit different, I usually will source textures and colors from inspiration on Instagram and photos on Adobe stock. However I've recently been exploring how I can apply AI to my creative process. ALL TEXTURES (Slide 3,4,5) GENERATED WITH Artificial intelligence ( @openaidalle ) and then applied to the shoe on Photoshop. Using only these images and Photoshop I created this shoe to look realistic with materials that were never real photos in the first place. FOLLOW @suburbanarchive for my exploration into AI as a tool. On this page I will be creating an archive page completely generated by AI. Focusing mostly on fashion and interior design I will be posting a few times a day on there. What do you think of this idea?
