I wore my MJ "Beat It" jacket Dr. Stephanie Nash bought me for my birthday for the opening of Citizens Live at The Wylie on 9/28.

It seemed appropriate for the occasion.

I knew it would look amazing under the lights and I wanted to also celebrate my best friend Michael Conaway who passed away last year.

He would have definitely flown in from LA for that show. We both loved MJ, concerts, record store shopping and all things heavy metal.

The combo of the jacket, the sequence neck piece (for my Mom) and the white Jackson guitar was intentional to celebrate two people that I miss dearly.
