This Father’s Day, join us for a Father’s Day Brunch to celebrate fatherhood and honor the important role fathers and father figures play in our communities. Reserve your spot at peaceinstitute.org.

This Sunday also marks the final day of our Mother’s Day Walk for Peace campaign! Every dollar raised helps ensure that families impacted by murder, trauma, grief, and loss continue to receive the support and resources they need through the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute.

When truth and satire meet.
.
So yes we hide our feelings/emotions in our muscles because genetically our cells carry and remember information across generations aka epigenetically.
.
So although bigger muscles may ‘hide’ your insecurities, they won’t obliterate your emotions. In fact the more you train and move your body the more likely you will bring up deeply stored emotions. I mean c’mon it’s literally (e)nergy-in-motion!! Especially if you stretch..🤔prob why many men dislike or don’t stretch lol!
.
Some areas in the body that you can focus on for deep healing will be:
🦵🏾Hips- release anger, insecurity, abuse (root chakra)
👣 feet- loss of direction/purpose, sense of balance
🫀Chest- love, acceptance/belonging, abundance (heart chakra)
.
Where do you feel it the most?

The Content Creators Club Graduation Ceremony celebrated the creativity, growth, and accomplishments of the students who successfully completed the inaugural program. Participants showcased their final multimedia projects, highlighting the skills they developed across digital media production, radio and television broadcasting, and sports content creation.

At Emerson’s Bill Bordy Theater, students got to hear from and connect with mentors, guest speakers, and industry professionals. Prolific sports and music photographer Drew Cigna ( @a_ciggs ) shared his work and career path, and announced he’ll be mentoring certain CCC students one-on-one.

Drew Cigna; CCC instructors Anabel Gutierrez, Ryan Gibeau, and Yue Hua; and Boston Neighborhood Network Media each received a Certificate of Recognition from @mayorwu in acknowledgement of exceptional dedication to youth empowerment. We are deeply grateful to receive this honor, and strive to continue inspiring future content creators and community leaders.

Congratulations to all of the students—we can’t wait to see what you do next! Stay tuned for future programs, as we continue to empower the next generation of multimedia creators to pursue opportunities in media, technology, and creative industries.
