Spending time with the team in Toronto this week, and it feels so good to be back in the city I called home for 12 years 🇨🇦

This place holds a special spot for me — it’s where I built meaningful connections, both personally and professionally, and where so many great chapters of my journey began. Meeting @thatfounder brought creative alchemy that has grown ever since.✨

Grateful for the chance to reconnect, catch up in person, meet collaborators and soak in all the energy of this city that still reminds me of home (if I squint 😉)

In December 2024, we hosted our 6th Annual RXYM Holiday Event, and it was truly unforgettable! 🎉 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this milestone possible. We extend our gratitude to our incredible sponsors and partners: the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF), John Tavares Foundation, The Ordinary - DECIEM, and Mercedes Molina, as well as the Toronto Argos Football Club and Matt Black, Rexdale Women’s Centre, and Great Canadian Casino Resort. Your support has been instrumental in helping us empower Black and Racialized Youth to reach their full potential! ✨

We also want to thank our dedicated volunteers and staff who brought this event and all of our programs to life over the years. Your passion is unmatched and is truly the driving force behind our organization and its mission. We are endlessly grateful to the parents and mentees who have been with us throughout the years. Your enthusiasm and word-of-mouth support have been key to our growth. 💙💛🖤

This year, we took the time to connect one-on-one with our staff, parents, mentees, and community members to discuss our journey and the program’s future. Your feedback has been invaluable in helping us improve and expand our services to better serve the community. ☺️

Here’s to collaboration, communication, and shared success! Together, we are building something extraordinary. Cheers to more milestones ahead! 🎉
