Today’s inspiring graduation keynote speaker was outgoing Brighton Students’ Union Communities Officer, Rosie Ellen Birch. 🎓

Rosie shared a heartfelt speech about the support of her grandparents, making the most of every opportunity at Brighton, and how those experiences have shaped her journey.

From supporting fellow students to securing a StartUp Hive grant to launch her own business, we can’t wait to see what she does next. 💙

Double alumnus Kyriakos Baxevanis shared his story with our graduating students – and how the University of Brighton helped him find a new direction, build resilience and find his feet.

Now, he’s giving back by inspiring the next generation to take their own first steps beyond university.

We asked this year’s grads: Who supported you the most on your journey?

Whether it was a dedicated tutor, a supportive friend, or a family member who believed in them every step of the way, these stories remind us that no one achieves their goals alone.
