Well hello again everyone… it’s been a while! Life has taken a turn in many wonderful ways for me this year.😋

At the beginning of the year, I accepted the position of Territory Manager for all of Orange County at Springboard Wine and Spirits. With the combination of grinding hard, having a lot of passion and absolutely loving my job (so much so that I literally have to force myself to take breaks from it😃🍷), that took the front seat for the beginning of the year. I’m truly grateful to represent so many incredible wines, be surrounded by wonderful people and the fun I have while doing it all!

I am loving where I am this current life, the amazing opportunities that I’ve had, and the ones that are on the horizon (another one in a few weeks😉✈️). I’m also excited to share some of the awesome wine spots in Orange County and beyond that you need to come visit!

Looking forward to seeing all your faces on here and becoming more involved in this fun little wine world again!

Kicking off #GlobalChampagneDay (week, month . . .) with an epic party by Champagne Taittinger. This is an annual event here in LA. Hosted by Clovis Taittinger, and always on a Monday night — #MondayIsTheNewFriday!

Tasted the brilliant 2013 Comtes de Champagne, but also so impressed by the upper range of Taittinger: Prestige Rosé, Millésime 2015, Prélude Grands Crus, and the very limited release “Les Folies de la Marquetterie.”

Endless pours and generous bumps of Petrossian caviar, live DJ, speakeasy bar, and an absolutely gorgeous venue. Kudos, @champagnetaittinger!

Harvest 2024 is coming fast and oak barrels are on the forefront !

After being washed out with water and dried, wooden tanks will then undergo a final cleaning using a wick to sterilize them from the inside.
From winery side, Adrien and Gérard Fallet have created a real patchwork with barrels from diffrent ageing (some of them are over 10 years old). Every year, new pieces, with a medium heating, come to replace the oldest.
Over time, the wood ages and the heating's barrel that lessen enable to realease subtle and softer aromas. So that a good turnover of casks will help to perfume the wine with delicat notes of vanilla and oaky flavours, even sometimes slightly roasted. #oak 🌳 #champagne 🍾

Yesterday I had a yoga class and to be perfectly honest, if I hadn’t been the teacher, I totally would have skipped it. 🫣

There was still so much shopping to be done, errands to run, chaos at home to tackle, and a jam packed schedule of kids‘ holiday parties to keep up with. I felt like I was drowning in all the „to dos“ of the holiday season and was missing all the joy.

Once again, I had to drag myself to class, but emerged completely recharged afterwards.

Somehow after 40+ years on this planet I still have to keep reminding myself, over and over again, that I ALWAYS feel better after I move.

So now, I’m reminding you too! 😏

Even if you think you don’t have time (I’m looking at you, moms!) carve out the time to take care of yourself.

Self care isn’t selfish- It’s necessary!
Especially when you feel overwhelmed.

So put down the gift wrap and go move your body and BREATHE! You won’t regret it.
