Belleville, Ontario area folks, I'm going to be back in town again this weekend to do the Ontario launch of Flying High on PEI! Woohoo! I know all you Ontario people LOVE Prince Edward Island. I chatted with lots of you at the @cavendishliteraryfestival last month and you'll be able to appreciate the Island charm and hospitality that unfolded for two lucky flyers in 1930 before they tackled flying the Atlantic Ocean. Great time at @chapterswoodbridge with Dr. Alis B. Kennedy, the inspiration behind Alis the Aviator. Apparently I made a lot of funny faces and talked with my hands a lot. What else is new?! 😁 Wonderful chatting with folks, reading the book to some kids, and signing a stack of both Alis and Freddie. These are the only Alis the Aviators in existence with both our signatures, so great gift idea, maybe? 😄

Y’all know I’m not gonna stop beating this drum for a while, so forgive me, but here we are. FIRST CHANCE is still back ordered in some places. The second printing in theory continues, but as the books ship out, they go to their appointed homes and the cycle continues. Some of you know I was headed up the west coast soon, but that trip has been delayed until we know there’s stock available. If you’re starting to think about gifts and holidays and getting signed copies to offer your loved ones, Amazon and Barnes and noble are good options right now. If you want signed bookplates and swag, DM me and I’ll be sure to send it your way with proof of purchase. Yay! Exciting when you spot one of your books out in the wild, especially your local airport. The staff said that books by Nova Scotia creatives have been flying off the shelves as quickly as she can put them out which makes my heart sing! Apparently I'm the first author to offer to autograph books there and they had to call up the food chain but tah dah! There are now two signed copies of Children of the SS Atlantic for your souvenir-buying and reading pleasure, dear travelers. Thanks, Darlene! Authors tip: never hurts to ask and always chat with the folks who are able to connect your book with readers!! New Deal Announcement! FUTURE RUINS by @tjoneswriter is coming July 27, 2027! This is a collection of linked cosmic horror novellas and stories in which an uncanny fortune-telling machine reveals dark secrets, and four men encounter a terrifying and otherworldly phenomenon. You may have read LONGSIGHT M40 and HEAVY OCEANS in other editions, but both are included here with new additional linked stories. The linked stories expand both of the original novellas, adding over 38,000 new words to create these new definitive versions. We can't wait to share more soon!
