3년 전, 한국에서의 첫 BIAS 공연이 펼쳐졌던 공간 Cakeshop… 그리고 그 과정이다큐멘터리로 제작되었습니다! 오는 11월 7일, 서울국제프라이드영화제(@sipff_official )에서 @biasesfilm 의 서울 프리미어 상영이 진행되며, 영화가 끝난 뒤 특별한 ENCORE 애프터파티를 개최합니다! 많참부!!

우리가 가장 사랑하는 서울의 DJ 및 아티스트들이 선보이는 K-pop 히트곡과 언더그라운드 클럽 사운드의 믹셋!

Three years ago, our first ever BIAS show in Korea was at Cakeshop… and the process was captured in a documentary. On 11/7, @biasesfilm will have its Seoul premiere at Seoul International PRIDE Film Festival @sipff_official, and after we’re returning to the neon lights for a special ENCORE afterparty!

초창기부터 이 공간을 만들어온 세대부터
지금의 로컬 언더그라운드를 만들어가고 있는 새로운 세대까지,

9월 23일, 14년 동안 Cakeshop을 지나온 소리들이 한 자리에 모입니다.

Loosies is the longest running party series in Cakeshop, gathering all sounds from the beginning of the club until present.

VISLA FM @visla.fm のレジデントDJを務めるTUNAさんのMixや動画からは深い音楽愛がストレートに伝わってきて、その音楽を心底楽しんでいる姿にいつも魅了されています。大好きなDJです。
現在のスタイルに辿り着いた経緯や現在の活動を教えてもらったので、Mixと合わせてお楽しみください。TUNAさんは後半30分です。

TUNA is a DJ based in Itaewon, Seoul, playing mainly footwork and jungle with a particular love for the spaciousness and low-end movement drawn from dub.
Her journey began with UK sound and club culture. She spent a lot of time at Cakeshop in Seoul, where DJs who deeply understood UK music were active at the time. Through their sets she discovered jungle and footwork, and slowly began digging into and playing that music herself. The deeper she went, the more footwork's unique rhythm and energy took over her sets, with jungle right beside it and dub's deep sense of space pulling everything together.
Musically, she's been heavily influenced by Phillip D Kick (@om_unit), @sherelle_, and @sunpeople_official. The way they connect footwork, jungle, dub and techno in their own style has been a big inspiration for her own playing. She's also shaped her taste over the years by digging through labels like Moveltraxx, Teklife, and Trekkie Trax.
She currently hosts a monthly radio show, Tuna Roll, on VISLA FM. The show explores a range of 160 BPM sounds, centered around tracks with a groove that keeps rolling forward even at high tempos.
In the clubs, she plays mainly at Cakeshop and Pistil, and has supported artists including RP Boo, Oyubi and Fetus during their Seoul shows. She also runs deebeeja, a daytime party born from the idea that fast, bass-heavy music hits just as hard in the daytime as it does at night.
Recently, she's also begun working on her own productions alongside DJing. Going forward, she hopes to keep exploring 160 BPM music in her own way, with footwork and jungle at the center, moving freely through dub and beyond.
