POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

2026 expo tag in the books. This hunt was a grind and everything that I could have wanted in hunt like this. Knew it would be a long time before I could actually draw this so we made the most of it.

Shelby spotted this bull originally on day 3 and wanted me to shoot him then. 😂 We decided to pass on him that early in the hunt but loved his look and character so we kept him as a back pocket bull. Worked like hell to turn up a better bull but got worked! This bull was a little tough to turn back up again but knew when we turned him up yesterday it was go time.

Sat on him for 3 hours of pouring rain waiting for him to stand and once he did, made the shot count. It was one and done and over in 30 seconds. Few summer scouting trips and 10 days of hunting over in an instant.

Huge thanks for all of family and friends that came together to make it all happen. Couldn’t have done it without any of them! From hundreds of ON X pins to guys scouring the unit. Nowadays this is almost a once in a lifetime hunt and the memories will last atleast that lifetime. Glad I was able to take an old bruiser that made me earn a whole new respect for these animals.
