The #1 reason kitchens fail inspections? It’s not the food.

It’s the system. Nobody scheduled right, stations not checked, everybody walking in guessing.

@connecteamapp puts the whole operation in one place. Schedules built around who’s qualified and available, checklists, time clock right from their phone.

Try it free. #ad

Restaurant managers have enough to manage.

Chasing clock-ins, correcting timesheets, and figuring out when someone actually left shouldn’t be part of the job.

The best systems remove friction from the operation so leaders can spend more time doing what actually moves the business forward: developing people, building culture, and taking care of guests.

That’s why I partnered with @connecteamapp

Less time babysitting the time clock. More time leading your team.

Good systems give good leaders their time back. 🤝

5 subscriptions I’d buy immediately:

1. @googleworkspace
Access your company docs anywhere. A professional email domain with your company name and access to gemini

2. @openai or @claudeai pro
Don’t be cheap. If you’re not using AI to automate your tasks, you’re being left behind

3. @gocardless
Direct debit system that automates payment and saves you the headache of manually requesting payment. A set date for each payment. Helps you know exactly what your financials are

4. @canva
Creative purposes. I don’t need to explain this one. This is the dominant market leader in graphic designing, marketing creatives, you name it. Very user friendly

5. @connecteamapp
Very simple and FREE (teams of 9 or less) clock in and clock out system to track timesheets and keep hours accurate

If I was starting a business again tomorrow, I would NOT sign up for 20 different softwares.

These are the ones I’d actually start with:

1. @googleworkspace
One of our early mistakes was using an @gmail.com address.

Eventually we moved to professional company emails using our own domain.

It immediately makes the business look more established, but the bigger benefit is the ecosystem.

Google Drive for storing files.
Docs for contracts and SOPs.
Sheets for tracking things.
Calendar for meetings.
Cloud access from anywhere.

As a founder, being able to access your business from anywhere becomes increasingly important.

2. @connecteamapp
For staff clocking in and out and tracking timesheets.

Especially when you start hiring, you do not want to be manually figuring out people’s hours every payday.

3. @gocardless
If you’re collecting recurring payments, automate it.

It helps us see what has been paid, what hasn’t and what needs chasing.

4. @canva
You don’t need a designer every time you need a poster, graphic, presentation or social post.

5. @openai or @claudeai
Pick one and actually learn how to use it properly.

I use AI for organising ideas, reviewing processes, drafting documents, analysing information and saving time.

Bonus: @youtube Premium.

Sounds random, but I use YouTube constantly for learning. Removing ads, downloading content and listening in the background makes it worth it for me.

You don’t need 50 softwares.

You need a few tools that solve real problems.

POV: managing your team somehow turned into managing everyone’s timesheets. 😵‍💫
With Connecteam’s NFC Time Clock, employees can clock in and out with a quick tap on-site, while managers can see who’s clocked in in real time.
Less chasing. Less fixing. Less “I forgot to clock in.” 🙃
If timesheets are becoming your full-time job, it might be time to make the switch.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt the pain of receiving a “I forgot to clock in” text 🙋🏽‍♀️

@connecteamapp ‘s NFC time tracking tag is one of the most ridiculously simple systems we’ve recently added to our business.

Our employees simply tap their phones to the tag when they arrive to clock in – helping reduce missed punches and time card corrections, making life so much easier for both our team members and managers.

The easier you make a process to follow, the less time you have to spend fixing it later!
