I'm a true believer that everything happens for a reason.

If you had told me years ago that I'd become an electrical apprentice, a skilled trades advocate, and someone who travels around inspiring the next generation, I probably wouldn't have believed you!

But looking back, I can see how every chapter of my life helped prepare me for the next.

From my experiences in child and youth work to training and education, and eventually finding my way into the electrical trade at @mohawk.college, every experience taught me something valuable.

And here's what I've learned: You're never really starting over. You're building on what you already know.

That's why I love Mohawk College's message, The Enterprise of You. Through my electrical apprenticeship training at Mohawk College, I've experienced firsthand how education can be part of building a career that continues to grow and evolve.

Whether you're just graduating high school, considering a career change, or looking to learn something new, remember that you don't need to have your entire future figured out today.

Sometimes the opportunities you never imagined are the ones all your experiences have been preparing you for.

Keep learning. Keep growing. Keep building.

Your next chapter might surprise you!

Explore the possibilities at @MohawkCollege.
