I prayed a long time this morning before sharing these very cherished personal texts” these are just a few now forever saved in my icloud -saved forever “ I pour over them in time of deep waves” to remind me of the gift of my son how grateful for the 28 beautiful years he gifted me , our love as mother and son , and I share them with you . Any mother or any father, these are not from one day or even one month but conversations chosen from so many similar texts and ways of boundaries and discussions about recovery , but always with LOVE, I am sharing this to bring awarebess , so that language is so important to how we speak to one another , kindness to ones journey, it is so hard to try so hard as we do ,to help our children “ find their way” but it is not our choice , we try everything in love , Now with Fentanyl poisoning “ the one more day to try rehab “ one more day to say yes to surrender of our will power , the Poison of Fentanyl Steals dreams, hopes, lives, that relapse to get to the right recovery . ❤️‍🩹 Addiction is a person struggling , a child, a mother a father a brother a sister . Covid caused a lot of pain isolation and anxiety in my son, he was running from real change” we must recover out-loud , stop the shame , stigma and judgment . Addiction can look like shopping, gambling, eating, social media, sex, relationships, . It’s all just pain unhealed 🙏♾💜✨ I am sending love and light yo each one who is struggling “ your not alone “ reach out we are here to offer our love and support , try to be a hopeful person in someone’s life . Community and connection are the opposite of addiction . 💜🙏
