What a journey it’s been. I could have four years sober today, but I don’t. And that’s okay.
Over the last four years I’ve learned so much about myself and everyday I don’t drink, I continue to meet her.

I could have four years sober today, and I don’t, but I haven’t been arrested in four years and that’s definitely something to celebrate.

From ages 18-22 just about every time I drank I ended up spending the night in jail. I was fighting so much in my mind that when I got drunk, I ended up fighting my friends and family. I fought cops. I didn’t think i was an angry person, but alcohol brought out the worst in me and I didn’t care who saw.

After years of processing— I was an angry person, and rightfully so. My youth was stolen from me and I turned to substances because I lacked the tools to resolve unhealed trauma.

Whenever I choose myself over alcohol, I choose healing.

Every time I’ve decided to drink again, I’m reminded of exactly why I stopped in the first place. Jail was horrible, and even though It was only two months, it affected me in ways I still haven’t fully processed. It is the reason why I choose not to drink today, because it is a place I never want to return to.

Here’s to four years of freedom

disposing of two different spells; 🪄
Cord cutting w/ negative self-talk was ‘buried’ into the burn pile
And a self-love/ beauty ritual was planted near my new garden area 🌿
I saw a “‘city witch’” do this and figured I’d post my version since there isn’t trash pick-up here and I don’t want the bad energy festering. Typically I’ve seen witches dispose of spell work in trash cans, but doing whatever you feel called to will always be the “right” way. I have access to this land, so I might as well use it ✨ I’ll make a video of the burn pile once fire restrictions are lifted — that ritual isn’t over just yet. 🔥

Idk how yall record cord cutting rituals or literally anything to do with candle magick; these took an hour+ to burn and I was running out of storage the whole entire time 💀
.
🕯️ I will say, it is nice to go back and decipher the flames afterwards as well.
Very pleased with this — I’m strong but my mind is a powerful thing and negative self-talk has taken over after breaking my sobriety for a 3rd time ..
feeling like I’m stuck in a loop. ➰
So as always, coming back to myself the only way I know how to :: nature, movement, creation

it’s always a magickal time when you’re paying attention to the planets & Wiccan // pagan holidays ⊹ ࣪ ˖🪐*𖥞⊹ ࣪ ˖

Full moon in Leo, the last full moon of lunar year. The last bits of shedding. Reminding us to return home to ourselves. Self-expression. passion. authenticity. No time to care about the opinions of others or fear their judgement — creating space to celebrate ourselves, our achievements and acting on our creative impulses. 🪄
This moon is referred to as the ‘Snow Moon’ because it occurs during the depths of the winter, asking us to honor rest + rejuvenation. It is a time of purification that leads us into Imbolc; the first signs of spring, a tribute to Deity Brigid, 1/8 of the sabbat holidays. It marks the halfway point between the winter solstice & spring equinox, reminding us the light is on its way.

There is always more to learn, I hope to soak it all in this year. 🐎 thanks for reading <3

2025,, 9 ˖‧ 𓆗 ࣪‧ ˖⋆｡˚𖦹
🌀 a year beyond my wildest imagination ~
which is funny to say, because I recently learned about a “phenomenon” called Aphantasia — the inability to picture images in your minds eye. Ive talked about my experience with this before, but within the last few weeks have found out it only affects 2-5% of the entire population. 👁️ it’s something that I’ve cried over and been confused about but at the same time helps me understand how I can *feel* so deeply. Instead of imagery, comes sensation.🫧🪞

~ the more we know about ourselves, and care to understand, the more we can help others **

2025, 25: my cerebral cortex develops
I’m learning, learning to navigate loss,
learning to transmute and learning to love no matter what because when I reflect on the year, there’s no reason to complain ~ I had a year filled with travel, outdoor adventures, family, and time with myself in my own sacred space. 🫂 it’s all I could ever ask for

I’m slowly going through my memories from the year on this old phone… ⋆｡°• ⛆⋆｡°• Processing while nature rests, and I will too. Time for reflection and introspection.

** my birthday wish, when my mother asked me what I want out of life, was to help people. I get to help people everyday, but in order to do that; I need to help myself first. ‧ ˖⋆｡˚𖦹 2026,, 1 // self, new beginnings, independence ++ ACTION

I’d rather be doing yoga on the warm beaches of PR and not in this freezing cold room <3 🧚‍♀️ but I’m thankful for movement nonetheless~ no matter where this vessel stands
