Wow 😭 I am left in so much love and joy from leading my very first @connection_jam last night! 🥰❤️🫶🏽✨

What a full circle moment from being a part of the first Connection Jams with Ana María in 2023, to being an organizer for 3 years, and to now return back as an alum facilitating my own jam! Receiving opportunity to bring Bollywood into this space for the first time was such an honor and privilege! I am so thankful I finally got to do this and add to the beautiful mix of this weekly practice!

It was really special to have my friends and peers show up for me and get to dance it out OG Connection Jam style with so many amazing human beings! I left filled with sweat, hope, energy, and warmth in knowing that this is what sharing culture and collectivity looks like! 🙌🏾🔥

Deeply grateful for you @movementartivist and to all my @ucsdtheatreanddance mentors who have shaped my knowledge and confidence in facilitating spaces like these! Thank you for always believing in me and teaching me what it truly means to be a dancer, a human being! 💗♾️🫀

Bollywood is the Hindi film industry originating from Mumbai, India. What makes these films unique is the song and dance numbers that have become a huge cultural part and staple of many South Asian households! ❤️
