Today was a GREAT day in Plymouth...

As consultants who curate AND create developing anything requires feedback

ESPECIALLY from the intended audience(s)...

As we develop our Nurturing Mothers curriculum, it was an honor to roll out our first 2 sessions:

>>> First with Moms AND THEN...

>>.. with Facilitators in the community

This work is ongoing and includes a full curriculum roll out + Train the Trainer sessions that truly gets the support and community moms need 🙌

We cannot WAIT to turn this feedback into a powerful program 🙌 ...so far the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and of course you have to stay tuned for more...

But for now we are on the road b4 getting back to work‼️

As @connectiveinc states "impact doesn't stop moving" and today we filled up on the gas to

KEEP GOING 🫡

Throwback to one of my workouts where I gave every player a T-shirt with a message that meant something deeper than basketball:

UNWAVERING WORK ETHIC.
DRIVEN BY PURPOSE.
FUELED WITH PASSION.

Those weren’t just words I thought sounded good on a shirt. They represented principles I lived by then and still live by today.

Work hard. Live with purpose. Move with passion.

Whether you’re an athlete or not, those principles apply to life. Anything worthwhile requires commitment, purpose, passion, and the willingness to keep working even when nobody is watching.

The shirt was just a reminder. The message was always bigger than basketball.

Shout out to @connectiveinc, @theedexperts and @callmedrco for such an AMAZING educator’s summit in Harlem yesterday!! They were a POWERHOUSE!!! The insight, the theory, the passion and love for education was definitely in the building!!! 💪🏾🫶🏽♥️

BLACK EXCELLENCE SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT!!!!! 👩🏽‍🏫🏫📝✏️👨🏽‍🎓

It felt really good to be amongst people who LOVE the communities we serve and who are striving to always dismantle the school to prison pipeline!!

Im excited to bring back some gems to my own classroom that were shared and to also spread knowledge about authentic pedagogy from authentic people!!

Thanks again for the invite and happy to have been a part of making history!
