POV: Your expo activation isn’t a photo booth, a giveaway, or handing out branded tote bags ✨

This week, I got to take my gift of intuitive poetry to LAS VEGAS 🎰💎✨

I got to test run @arspoetica.us newest “Poetic Prescription” experience where I had participants pick out a chakra-aligned aromatherapy oil and I wrote them an intuitive poem after reading their energy. I took brief encounters with strangers and turned them into memorable and emotional connections they get to take home. 💌💖

Booked by @bookwitheva as an on-site activation for @imex_group.

Tampa, you were good to me! My first Connect Marketplace as a hosted buyer was full of new connections, familiar faces, creative experiences, and so many fun memories! 🌴💙

A big thank-you to @connectmeetings, @visittampabaymeetings, and everyone who made this experience so special. And of course, a little extra love for the Arkansas booth! 🐗❤️ Proud to represent @elevatedmeetingsolutions wherever this industry takes me!

Detroit made its way to Tampa. 💚

We had so much fun joining @visitdetroit at @connectmeetings this year and bringing a little piece of Detroit with us!

From showcasing our one-of-no-other-kind jewelry to connecting with event professionals from across the country, it was such a fun few days celebrating what makes Detroit so special.

There’s nothing we love more than getting to share our city, our story and the work we’re creating with people beyond Detroit. 🙌🏻

Thank you to the @visitdetroit team for having us!

My recent trip to Tampa confirmed something I’ve been discussing with hotels for years: distinction matters. But this time, I saw it through the lens of an entire destination.

Having never visited, I assumed Tampa might feel a little like Miami—a city I know well and once called home. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Tampa has an identity entirely its own. Along the Riverwalk, I noticed the local flora and fauna, cultural murals, historical markers and visible care for the city’s natural surroundings. Even the LEED-certified Tampa Convention Center reflects that commitment. It felt like a metropolis with care—proud of where it has come from and intentional about preserving what makes it special.

Experiencing Tampa through Connect Marketplace made the trip even more memorable.

The Connect team created an environment where people were genuinely there to collaborate, and the energy in the room was undeniable.

I’m more convinced than ever that the future of meetings and incentives belongs to destinations that offer attendees something meaningful, distinctive and deeply connected to place.

I’m grateful I had the opportunity to present my DESIRE™ Framework, excited to join Connect again in Anaheim next year—and already planning my return to Tampa simply as a traveler.

What destination surprised you so much that it immediately earned a place on your return list?

Making waves by the bay! 🌊🐬

Last week, Carolina, Amanda, and Samantha headed down to Connect Marketplace in Tampa. They put Mercedes-Benz Stadium on the map by networking with over 80 vendors, planners, and agencies that are interested in hosting their next event in Atlanta. We are so excited to host you all soon! ☀️

We came to CONNECT Marketplace to create a little buzz, and apparently, we did!

Thrilled that our booth activation was named Most Engaging Experience by @TSNN - Trade Show News Network.

Creating experiences that draw people in, spark connection and leave a lasting impression is what we love to do. Thanks to everyone who stopped by, joined the fun and helped make it such a memorable experience!

Last week, Brittany Suazo, CMP and Rachel Blake represented Elevated Meeting Solutions at Connect Marketplace Tampa Bay, and as two of the newer members of our team, it was one of their first Connect experiences.

One of the things we love about the Connect Marketplace format is just how much opportunity is packed into a few days. Between the one-on-one appointments and the incredible networking events, there are so many opportunities to have real conversations and build relationships.

Brittany and Rachel met with destination partners from across the country, major hotel teams, event and experience partners, and so many industry colleagues. They came home with new connections, new destination and property knowledge, and relationships that will continue well beyond Tampa Bay.

For us, that’s such an important part of these events. The more our team is out experiencing destinations, meeting partners and building their own industry relationships, the more knowledge and resources we can bring back to our clients.

Thank you to the Connect and BizBash teams for continuing to create events that bring our industry together in such a meaningful way.

Iggy’s first business trip is officially in the books. ✈️

He worked the floor, made a few friends, and helped us bring home Most Engaging Experience at the #ConnectMarketplace EXHIE Awards.

Strong start for our Chief Interaction Officer. I think we’ll keep him around.
