Every year when the tups go out I make ridiculous videos of how funny they are flirting with the ewes 😂🙈I never post for fear of everyone thinking I’ve lost the plot, but you all know by now I have so. . . as they say in Yellowstone. . . “f##k it” . . . Here it is sports fans 😂😂 Sheep relationships part two. The black teasers having been taken out now they’ve got the girls cycling and all excited. We’ve chosen the best boys to go out and make the magic happen. All your local farmers including @connell_farms @laceysfamilyfarm @kenshamfarm are rallying together again today to go back to London to fight for UK food security and ensure this government back British Agriculture. There will be over a 1000 tractors pouring into the city center today and local farmers from this area will be joining them en mass and will pass through the village of Lane End at approx 9.30-9.45am and down into Marlow via the B482 at approx 10am before turning left to Bourne End. @bbcbreakfast asked me to take part in live interviews with @ninawarhurst_ on breakfast show & @bbcnews channel to speak for our farming community that I am SO proud to be part of! Our national food security is at risk & the nations farms are in jeopardy.

“Asset rich, cash poor” There is simply not enough financial margin in agriculture to put aside money to pay this proposed family farm tax - farming families will end up selling their land, livestock and buildings to fund this. People need to realise these farms won’t produce food to feed this country once they are sold to others outside of agriculture that have the cash to make these purchases. Up until the 30th October 2024 the best tax advice was to keep investing into your farming business and upon death it will go to your children who will continue farming. BAM 💥 31st October arrived and @labourparty shambolic budget proposals have rocked an entire industry - our elder farmers have no time to plan for this! Farmers, their thousands of employees & millions of tonnes of food produced for this country will be wiped out as they are forced to sell up - watching their entire life’s work fold to pay tax and their children’s future crumble in front of them. We CANNOT let this happen.

Conflict is being talked about at every world table in this “pre war” era. As an island nation we MUST remain self sufficient in our ability to produce food! These budget proposals will decimate the agricultural industry. UK’s reliance on imported goods will be sky high - this is very, very dangerous. It will push more people into poverty as they will not be able to afford the food price hikes that will come off the back of this & shelves will become empty as the farms disappear !!

Get behind your British farmers!! I was so proud & felt emotional walking alongside thousands of others today, both young and old, that went to London to march, lobby MPs & donate tonnes of food to the @cityharvestlondon charity to supply food banks. United we stand together on this! We owe this to the next generation to protect their food security and our children’s futures🚜🥦🌽🥩🐑🥖🐷👩‍🌾🧑‍🌾 #familyfarmtax #backbritishfarming #foodsecurity

A business is only ever as good as its people . . . And my goodness we have one hell of a good team around us 🙌After a seriously testing harvest and rough start to autumn planting 🌱a much needed morale boost was delivered at this years Royal South Bucks Agricultural Association’s 179th annual ploughing match and show that seated 320 for a 4-course luncheon this year. Hard work pays off and we couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic team that support us - thank you each and every one of you, you all play an important role and work so hard alongside us which enables us to be successful and push forward in a very challenging industry🏆🙌🌾 🐑🐄🏕️

We were awarded first prize in the following classes and picked up some lovely silverware to polish!
🌟Best Crop of Winter Wheat
🌟Best Stock farm
🌟Best Sheep Flock
🌟Most points awarded over all arable classes
🌟Best diversification enterprise @chilternretreatcamping

We were also 2nd in the following farm classes:
🌟The Best Cultivated Farm
🌟The Best Spring Wheat Crop
🌟The Best Large Farm
🌟 @terry0785sayer also came second in his ploughing class 🚜

In the domestic tent 🥧:
🌟James won best overall children’s entry
🌟Charlie won best decorated cake in the under 5s
🌟I came Second in my domestic class “A brace of pasties”
