The steady hand outlasts the quick draw 🤠

Quick trip out west for @pdxtrack after a good week of learning and presenting at @the_issn annual conference. So honored to get to continue to represent CIV and add to its history, breaking a 54 year old national record in the steeple. This season has been a lot of adjustments and adversity but just as much learning and firsts. It’s easy to feel dettered when the plan doesn’t play out the way you thought it would, but it’s important to remember that everything happens for a reason and you have to trust the path you’ve been put on. I’m so grateful for all of the things that shaped this past year and the people that continue to make it special. The plan for now is to get back to some more consistent training, get the fitness back on track, share some more smiles and laughs along the way, and keep pushing the needle forward. Allez, le chemin se révèle en marchant.❤️‍🔥

The outcome isn’t guaranteed, however the growth God is working through you always is. The fear of not being enough has stopped more than failure ever will. Patience teaches what immediacy never could: that becoming is more important than arriving. Four years later and it’s hard to put into words what Wartburg has meant to me. Every mile, every lesson, every relationship shaped a chapter I’ll carry forever. Grateful for where the journey has taken me and blessed for wherever the road leads next.🙏
