8.7.26: Aaaaaand they’re off to Royal Oak for their last 2 games of the season. This is the last time I will have the pleasure of seeing some of these kiddos in person until next season. I’m going to miss them beyond measure!

I have been with these guys every day (almost) since May 24th, and our first game was on May 25th. That’s 74 days, 69 games, including our 4 off days and 3 days for the All Star break.

Good luck tonight boys!

8.5.26: Game 1 vs Richmond…we win! It rained most of the game, but not hard enough to stop us from playing. I had to make a couple of trips onto the field tonight, but not for our players. @liamgolden05 had a FANTASTIC outing, going in 6 2/3 innings. He had to get pulled due to his pitch count. We had awesome ⚾️ 💣 from @brock__sell and @demirheid, giving us a solid 10-8 win.

One more home game 😢

8.3.26: Tonight didn’t go our way, but we are still smiling. Losing to Royal Oak 9-4, at home, tends to put a damper on things. At least we have 3 more home games before it’s all over.

8.1.26: Game 1 of 2 at Battle Creek. The I94 Series. @jeremiaholder starting on the mound. Cecil Fielder apparently gave our guys some good hitting advice yesterday and they must have listened! Our defense could still use a little work, though it was better than it has been.

Some of the new guys played tonight, including @ca_moore13 behind the plate and @aliedeke2 in relief.
@sam_beemer_ and @kaelgahan3 came in to close the game, giving us the 6-3 win.

7. 31.26: Cecil Fielder night at the ballpark brought the Growlers a win against Richmond! We had 3 home runs and played pretty well! A 2-run shot by @nick_front_ , a 3-run shot by @demirheid , and another one by @demirheid got us fired up! We had a lot of fun in the dugout tonight watching the guys have fun on the field. We got a new pitcher, isaacscavarda, from Hillsdale college yesterday, and he put up one heck of a start for us. The best part? He went to Loy Norrix!

Tomorrow we hit the road for a 2-game stand at Battle Creek. Hopefully we can keep the win streak alive!

7.30.26: Tonight was college colors night so we had all 3 Kalamazoo colleges represented. We had the mascots from @kzoovalley , @wmubroncos_ , and @kalamazoocollege join our own Porter for all sorts of shenanigans tonight. Although we may not have beaten the Flying Mummies, @liamgolden05, @parker_aten , @kaelgahan3 , and @gavjones_ all did great on the mound tonight. Only 5 more home games and 4 away games until our season is over 😢

🚨 B2B ALERT 🚨

Charlie Wortham started it. Connor Walsh finished it.

Back-to-back homers powered Kalamazoo to a big win over Battle Creek. 🔥⚾

Kalamazoo Growlers win! After a loss last night, we were able to pull out a win against the Wisconsin River Rafters, 3-6! Our guest coaches at first base had fun today, which probably helped ☺️

Hardest goodbye ever. Forever blessed to have called EMU home for the past two years and to call this team family. Through a lot of prayer, I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal in May! Excited for what God has in store for this next chapter, but WOW I’m going to miss this place.
