Honestly, running and the running community have become a fundamental part of my life. It has helped me shift my mindset from being a constant doubter of myself , and someone who has struggled with suicide , to becoming a much more positive, resilient and determined person.

Running has taught me that discipline and consistency can change you. The same principles you apply as a runner , showing up, putting in the work, embracing discomfort and staying consistent , can make you stronger as an individual.

Running challenges you physically, but it challenges you even more mentally. It has taught me to persevere, keep fighting, and keep working towards a stronger, better version of myself.

And honestly, sometimes running just quiets my mind. It gives me space to process things, work through personal struggles and find perspective without needing all the answers immediately.

There’s something incredibly powerful about taking the simplest principles ,show up, keep moving, stay consistent, don’t quit and applying them to life.

Running hasn’t just changed how I move.

It’s changed how I think, how I cope, and how I see myself.🏃🏽‍♂️🧠❤️

One step. One kilometre. One day at a time.

Bits of June '26 📸 : Friends. Food. Freedom. Fitness 🫡❤️‍🔥

Finally ramped things up a bit this week with some tempo & a speed session ANDD some strength @horizenza 🥹

Besides 2 marathons (which may have become 3 💀), I also have a @hyroxsa entry which means the strength sessions will be a regular part of the next 3 months (& hopefully consistently after that as well 🥹) !!

My @asicsrunning ticked over 500km’s but still going strong & as a 100kg+ runner I am always interested in the durability of my running shoes but these are standing the test of time!!! 🤝🏽❤️‍🔥 (but maybe I need to look at getting a new one? 👀)

@openfuel been getting me through my runs this week (Code: SLOW&STEADY for 20% off) , and @get.revive & @nutrigopower have been making sure my post-run recovery has been on lock 🔐

Anyways, some ice cream, some good food, & time with some good people are always the highlight of week.

Something to remember on the last slide: “Everything in life is a win, if your goal is to experience” 🤞🏼❤️‍🔥
