Genetics matter.

Pretending they don’t is just as stupid as pretending they determine everything.

You might have been born slower than the kid next to you.

You might have started weaker.

You might not put muscle on as easily.

And yeah, somebody else might have been handed a genetic head start that you didn’t get.

So fucking what?

The question isn’t whether you were born with elite genetics.

The question is whether you’ve actually done everything possible with the genetics you WERE given.

Because most people talking about their “genetic ceiling” haven’t come remotely close to finding it.

They trained inconsistently.

They ate like shit.

They program-hopped.

They never got strong.

They never spent enough time developing speed or power.

Then shit stopped coming easily and suddenly…

“Must be genetics.”

No.

You don’t get to blame your ceiling when you haven’t even climbed the fucking ladder yet.

You were dealt a hand.

Play the damn thing.

Strength fades in 30 days.

Explosive power? Gone in 3.

But sure, skip the weight room during the season because you “don’t want to be sore.”

Here’s the truth:
If you’re not training in-season, you’re getting weaker.

And weaker athletes don’t get faster, stronger, or more durable.

They get hurt, slow, and benched.

You don’t need 6 lifts a week.
You need the right plan, done consistently.

Champions train year-round.
The rest just reset every off-season and wonder why they’re still mid.

Tag a teammate who needs to stop ghosting the gym every time the season starts.
