Louisa did a great job of reminding me that today is our 1-year friendiversary! 🥳🫶

We met exactly one year ago at a Conscious Connections matched brunch. In fact, it was my second CC event that week! This was also where I first met Pattie, so shoutout to her, who I was matched with at our table! ❤️

Louisa and I didn’t actually meet until later in the event. Everyone split off into different tables, I went to the “sports table” and found myself all on my own 🥺😂

That’s where Louisa came over and joined me… because the aircon was on! 💀😂

But we hit it off, and she became one of the CC Friends OGs. Alongside Matt, Pattie, Jess and eventually many others, we started building our little community, which has grown into what CC Friends is today. 🙌

She even received special honours when I asked her to be my +1 to Marcus and Joy’s wedding. 🥂 And now Joy and Louisa are friends too!

It reminds me of the vision I had when I started bringing people together. That friendships made through Conscious Connections could grow beyond the events themselves, and that CC friends could become so much more.

Louisa has become one of those people. A CC friend who became a best friend. 🥹❤️

I’m so grateful for Conscious Connections and all the friendships I’ve made over the past 12 months. It’s pretty special to look back at where it all started and see how much has grown since then.

Here’s to more friendships and many more memories! 🫶🥳

Melbourne… Halloween plans sorted. 🖤

On Saturday 31 October, Boot Scooting Society is taking over Kingpin Collins Street for a Halloween Hoedown with a twist.

Every dance. Every song. Something spooky, strange or sinister.

Think monsters. Zombies. Ghosts. Devils. Witches. 😈

No line dancing experience needed. We’ll teach you the moves, then keep the floor going with plenty of social dancing, drinks, food and Halloween chaos.

Day 2 of @conscious.connection and @elementa.women Slow Life Retreat and boy did we get cosy! Rain as our soundtrack we got into all the juicy creative and somatic activities ✨

Gentle morning yoga with @heidi.lampard (don’t remember the last time my body felt that good!), clay play facilitated by the one and only @solmama__ and a dance session by @elementa.women that reminded us that we don’t always need to take ourselves so seriously - and that the body is our greatest teacher 💃🏽

So many deep conversations in between, learning about each others’ stories and supporting each others’ next important life goals was all we talked about over the most delicious meals. ❤️

A little recap from day 1 of our Slow Life Retreat at @wybalenaorganicfarm ✨

@conscious.connection brought the friendship magic, @elementa.women the retreat whimsy and off the went to create the most joyful few days filled with everything our adult lives have been craving!

The first day is always so special! Starting off with an opening ceremony where we really got to know each other and set our intentions for our few days together, followed by the dinner of our dreams created by retreat fairy @aja_jade - chit chats in between and everything topped off with a nostalgic candle-lit Practical Magic watch in the yoga studio 🥰

Nowhere to be, nothing else to do but slow down and rest ✨🥰

10 years of Indy 🥹🌎✈️

We started out wanting to take people to some pretty incredible places.

But somewhere along the way, we realised the places were only half of it.

It’s the people you meet, the friendships that come out of nowhere, the group chats that somehow never die, and the next trips you start planning together before the first one is even over.

So many of you have joined us solo, not knowing a single person, and left with friends from all over the world.

That’s what Indy has become.

2026 has been BIG and we’ve excited to announce that we’ve just release our 2027 departures.. Plenty more people to meet, moments to share and adventures to come! 🙌🙏✨

🍝 Pasta Making with @conscious.connection 🍝

I did this pasta-making class a few months ago and had an absolute blast! About 30 strangers came together and we made two delicious types of pasta. I came solo and left with new friends and the skills to make pasta from scratch (and I am categorically not a chef, so that’s saying something)

Big shout-out to @conscious.connection for organising such an awesome event at @otaokitchen ! It was the perfect mix of organic conversation and a few ice-breakers, all paired with wine and pasta - the perfect day really ✨

📆 The next Pasta Party is on the 20th of September so make sure to book your ticket!
