Today is International Women’s Day.
And perhaps it has never been more necessary to talk about us.

In recent years, the world has once again shown its open wounds.
Girls being abused.
Attempts of femicide.
Wars driven by power and control – where, always, women and children pay the highest price.

Being a woman in this world is still, in many ways, an act of resistance.

For the past year, All Women in the World has been quiet. Not because it stopped existing — but because life, work, and the many battles we fight every day sometimes pull us away from our deepest missions.

This past year has been a year of discovery, growth, and intense work.
And even in silence, AWIW remained alive inside me.

Because AWIW is the project of my life.

It was created to listen to women.
To document their stories.
To remind the world that we exist, we resist, and we create paths — even when everything seems to try to silence us.

I am deeply grateful to every woman who has already been part of this project.
Every story shared, every portrait, every word spoken in front of the camera has built something greater than ourselves: a network of courage.

And now it is time to return.

In 2026, AWIW finds new ways to exist, new stories to tell, and new women to amplify.

We will continue asking the same question that has driven this project since the beginning:

What does it mean to be a woman in the world?

Because every answer is a manifesto.
Every voice is a form of resistance.
And every woman who speaks helps another woman find her place.

If you believe in the power of stories.
If you carry a journey that deserves to be heard.
If you want to be part of something that connects women around the world —

come with us!

All Women in the World is alive.
And this is only the beginning.

✨

All Women in the World is back! And we’re here to share incredible stories.

Meet Joana Freitas! She left Portugal to start a new journey in Tallinn, bringing inspiring educational projects through Erasmus. Joana was also part of our pasting team at @rotermannquarter – and now we can proudly say she will always be part of the AWIW family!

One highlight she wanted to bring was: “I see the unforgettable, incredible ones who came before me. Brought poetry, brought science, sowed quiet seeds of self-reliance that bloomed in me, so here I am.” (Sara Bareilles)

Follow us to keep discovering the amazing women who are leading, building, and shaping the world every day.

Together, we stand strong.

Hello again, AWIW!

Meet Lipsa Panda, from India, and hear what she has to say about womanhood.

It’s amazing how we’re constantly reinventing ourselves and conquering new spaces, wherever we are & despite the barriers 💪🏽

As Lipsa likes to say: ‘If life gives you lemons, make a great limoncello.’

What would you say if someone asked you to explain what it means to be a woman?

Meet Dalisa Cisneros from Mexico.

Dalisa has been living in Estonia for 9 years. She is a social activist and co-founder of @iwne.ee, where she advocates for diversity, integration, gender equality, and women’s empowerment.

Her passion lies in bringing people together through community building and multicultural events. Dalisa also honors her roots by promoting Mexican culture in Estonia through @promehhiko 🇲🇽 🎉

YES! A force that moves not only her own community but also many others around her. What a powerhouse! 💜🌼

AWIW continues, and more videos are on the way. Our team is working at full speed, and it looks like more exciting news will arrive before we leave Tallinn.

Curious? 👀🌼
