Alsooo, all the crunchy snacks on the last slide can be used as vehicles for MORE nutrition! Aka with dips like nut butter, yogurt ranch, hummus, guac. Personally I love including one crunchy item or even sending them for snack

With about 4g fiber & 2g iron per half cup (+ vit A, potassium, & vit C) then using @allgoodles boxed mac you’ve got yourself a nutrient packed mac & cheese your kids will love 🙌🏼 while being v easy

You can also blend up white beans or red lentils into the milk + cheese packet too!! I also love stirring in frozen peas, finely diced carrots, or even edamame like I did here for bonus veggies. So many ways to amp up your ole reg boxed mac

Bc yah after daycare/school pickup can be a challenging time when all they want is to snack snack snackkkk until dinner 🫠 but it can be such a great time to offer nonpreferred foods (esp if you’re able to share the snack w them!)

Ideally think of each eating opportunity (including snacks) as a “mini meal,” instead of handing over a carb based snack that’ll last maybe 30 min (like just puffs, applesauce pouch, crackers)
