🎬 And that’s a wrap! 🇧🇪✨

Our 4th Belwest Entertainment Group gathering in Brussels was a wonderful success, bringing together our members and an even larger community of film and entertainment professionals.

A huge thank you to Constance Powis and Meva Peeters for leading and organizing such a fantastic evening, and to everyone who joined us to celebrate Belgian cinema on both sides of the Atlantic. 🌍🎥

Our #Entertainment Lead, Constance Powis and Meva Peeters recently hosted a drinks gathering for the local industry bringing together members and friends from across film, media, games, music, and beyond.

👉What connects them all? A shared ambition to strengthen international collaboration and drive growth on both sides of the Atlantic.

✨ The evening sparked engaging conversations, new connections, and a strong cinema-focused turnout, exactly the kind of energy we’re continuing to build in Brussels, Luxembourg, Los Angeles and beyond.

🌎 At Belwest, we’re fortunate to be part of a dynamic and far-reaching entertainment network. With members such as ACE Good, Avalon Zero, Beeyou.tv, Calysta, City National Bank, Colgado Productions, Dirty Monitor, Nexeo, RealityMatters, Revive Brands, Skemmi, The Belgian Touch, TheGreenShot, THE Y-HOUSE or TV5Monde, we’re well positioned to support co-production strategies and provide complementary services across projects.

🎥 We’re also excited to highlight the presence of our members at this year’s Cannes market: @ace_good_ and Grégory Monfort will host a panel on May 14 at the Pavillon Afronova, and @colgado_productions will be attending @marchedufilm, the world’s largest film market. Whether you’re developing a feature, a short, or a cross-border project, they would be glad to explore opportunities with you.

👉 If you’d like to connect or learn more, feel free to reach out to Grégory and Constance.

We are thrilled to announce that “Glute”, the debut short film produced by our member @tachycardia.production, has been selected for the @magritte_cinema 2025!

💫 This milestone marks the first project brought to life by David Levy and our SiG Entertainment Leader, Constance Powis, with their company—and what a brilliant gem it is!

🎦 Directed by @victor.ruprich, “Glute” is a gripping short thriller that follows an anxious and self-conscious waiter who, in an effort to fit in with his coworkers, steals a joke from a colleague. The evening, however, takes a nightmarish turn when he discovers just how inappropriate the joke really is.

🇺🇸 We’re excited and proud about this daring creation and look forward to seeing it cross over to U.S. audiences soon.

🙌 Congratulations, David and Constance - fingers crossed for February 22nd!
