swipe for the al-basha spread on tuesday 😋 #24

i don’t *usually* post for my birthday but last week i hosted a show for the first time @ mcginley square pub in jersey city with some of my favorite new jerseyyy bands :D it was a blast and i’m so grateful to everyone that helped me bring this idea to life 🥹🩵💗

10 years ago i didn’t think i’d be standing here today, but i am!! with everything going on in my life n in the world, music is always there as a reminder that things will be okay :’)

this is a big sign to support your local scene!! there is so much music out there to EXPERIENCE, why limit urself to giving artists $0.003 on ur phone?? not to mention where the rest of the dollar goes.. :/

lastly, HUGE thank you to everyone that donated to my birthday fundraiser 🫶🏼 at the show we raised $75 in cash and in total YES WE REACHED $800 YAYYY!!! i’m gonna be donating everything in the coming week 🤩 and ofc, the work doesn’t end here!! i hope this can give You the push to support the communities both around you n abroad because at the end of the day, all we have is each other 🫂

here’s to the next one :) 🥂🎸💫
