A weekend at the Grand Hotel 🕵🏽‍♀️✨

From morning tea to mystery…
this cast and these guests were locked in.
We had secrets, scandals, and one very determined group of investigators who refused to leave without answers. And with the help of our absolutely adorable Jr. Constable 🥹—justice was served.

The Declaration of Independence?
Recovered.

The culprit?
Caught and sent off to the stables for transport back to the mainland.

And me?
Just a journalist… reporting what I see 👀

Grateful for the moments, the magic, and the people who made this weekend unforgettable 💛

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of directing the Grand Hotel’s spring murder mystery on Mackinac Island. Over the course of the three-day immersive event, guests worked to solve a double homicide and the theft of America’s national treasure—the Declaration of Independence, which had been nicked from its cage! To say it was a Revolutionary weekend would be an understatement 🇺🇸🦅🔔

Huge thanks to @themurdermysterycompany and @americanimmersiontheater for the production and logistics support, @scott_cramton for empowering us to bring this event to life, @emmastoryteller for writing a hilariously challenging mystery, and an incredible cast who committed to every ambitious idea we threw into the weekend.

Perhaps the real treasure Gale Force was hunting for was the friends he made along the way ❤️ Got wind? 💨
