The books I couldn’t put down (or stop listening to).

The books that touched my soul.

The books that I would recommend to others time and time again. (Even if I might not recommend all of them to every reader - some cover niche topics that will be appreciated more by some than others.)

These are my 5-star reads of 2025.

Of note: I make my star rating in my journal/reading log right after finishing the book. I don’t wait until the end of the year to trust my memory and compare all of the books I read. I just make my rating in the moment based on how I am feeling right after finishing.

Please share one of your 5-star reads from 2025 in the comments below so we can work together to make our reading lists for 2026!

Ready for a Megan & Meghan deepcut!? For the first time ever in print: Space Heroines of El Andoo!

In space, no one can hear you pass the Bechdel Test... Equal parts feminist fairy tale, biting Hollywood satire, and tribute to the beauty & weirdness of fandom & friendship.

Rho & I made this as a webcomic in 2017 and it's really special to us! I've always wanted to make a print version and we finally did it! Get your copy exclusively at LA Comic Con Sept 26-28th!
