POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A huge thank you to all of the retailers who joined us yesterday for our latest *shopt Retailer Panel! 🙌

From feeding back the app’s new look (don’t forget to update your app to access this if you haven’t already!) to exploring the future of loyalty, gamification and new platform features, the day was packed with brilliant conversations and valuable feedback.

The best ideas come from listening to the people who use *shopt every day, and we’re excited to turn your insights into future improvements.

Thanks again to everyone who came along! 🌟

From the bottom of our hearts, we are truly honoured to share that Halai General Store (Best-one) SE16 5SW has been recognised as one of the UK’s Top 100 Independent Convenience Stores for 2026 by the Better Retailing Awards.

What started as a small family shop has always been about more than business, it has been about serving people, supporting our neighbours, and being there for the community every day.

This recognition belongs to our loyal customers, our hardworking team, and everyone who has supported us through the years. Your kindness, trust, and encouragement have made moments like this possible.

We are deeply grateful and will continue to serve our community with the same care, humility, and dedication that brought us here.

Please continue to support local businesses in our community, every visit, every purchase, and every kind word helps small businesses grow and keeps our neighbourhood strong.

Today is a very special day, it’s the birthday of our one and only Big Boss, Terry. From the heart, Terry has touched so many of our lives in ways that are hard to put into words. He’s always there when someone is feeling low, offering support, laughter, and comfort just by being himself. His presence alone can lift your spirit and make everything feel a little lighter. Yes, he may annoy us sometimes but that’s only because he cares so much. Deep down, he has a truly beautiful heart, full of kindness and love. And honestly, things just don’t feel right when he’s not around. Today, let’s all come together and show him how much he means to all of us. Let’s make his day as special as he makes our lives every day. Happy Birthday, Terry Big Boss from the heart. ❤️🎉 #Volunteeing #Rotherhithe #Southwark #london #togetherforever❤️

We’re proud to share that one of our members, @freshfieldsmarket , has been named a finalist at the Convenience Awards 2026 — for Community Initiative of the Year and Community Retailer of the Year.

They will be be heading to Liverpool for the awards, not just to represent Croydon, but to learn from other finalists who are doing incredible work in their communities. Anything they discover there, will be brought back home.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey.
Croydon, this one’s for you. 💛
