Merging freshly made foods from sandwiches to breakfast burritos with the convenience of quick shopping
by @jurassicmagiccoffee

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

if there’s one thing I’ve fallen in love with since moving to the states, it’s the world of breakfast burritos. some may argue that la does them better than anywhere else in the country so here are some that i’ve had this year!

also idk if this is a hot take but i personally don’t like any hash browns/potatoes/tater tots or bacon in my burrito. lowk my faves are always the veggie ones with really golden egg. some of my favorites are the kyle style burrito with no bacon from @dialogcafe , veggie burrito from @cofaxcoffee , and regular breakfast burrito from @convibyjurassic ! i also highlighted my favorite so far a few posts ago and which was the veggie burrito from @lagroceryandcafe 😋🌯

New(ish) Sandwich Date!!

This is the luminous Carleigh Foutch! We met last year when my dear friend Claire brought her along to one of my improv shows! Carleigh is a writer production assistant, most recently working on Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. She was also part of the crew for Killers of the Flower Moon! She’s a writer, and producer of short films, which is a huge deal. Her writing centers female friendship and falling in love through hilarity and heart.

Carleigh introduced me to Jurassic Magic and Convi in Mid-City, where I had the chicken cutlet sandwich, which was a delicious marriage of chicken, sun-dried tomato, pesto, mozzarella, and arugula. This was a beautiful sando! I don’t even care that the photo is blurry because you see the most important part - that cheese pull 😍 What a treat!

Coffee spills on your favorite jeans. Crispy mornings, waking up with cinnamon rolls and a latte. Afternoons eating sandwiches outside in the sun like it’s a Euro summer. Somehow the days move slow and fast at the same time. Thanks for coming in everyday <3

In an era of overhyped $20 taquito-sized burritos... Convi / Jurassic Magic Café in Mid-City LA is doing it DIFFERENT (quality + experience). So underrated we're confused. Go try it and tell us if we're DTM (we're not)
