06/30/26 will be our Family Friendly Potluck and game night at Celebrate Recovery @convochurch. We will be grilling some hamburgers and hotdogs. Bring a dish to share and enjoy some fellowship and games! Let’s practice using those recovery tools in a safe and sober environment!!

I spent my whole life trying to fill a void I never knew could be filled. I ended up deep in gang violence, selling drugs, doing terrible things to people, and living a selfish and meaningless life. No matter how much money or material things I possessed I was always left feeling empty, tired, depressed, anxious and ultimately thoughts of ending my own life. I was in a deep dark place with no direction, no answers, exhausted every option I thought possible. One day a lady asked if she could pray over me while I was at an appointment and I said yes, as soon as she started without me even being sad I ended up crying, balling my eyes out, and I KNEW right then and there that what I have been looking for my entire life was Jesus. Since then I made it my life to get to know who He was. His life, His Ministry, His death, His resurrection. Slowly my heart was transformed, I completely surrendered and put my faith into Him. Now I feel the love and peace that I had always been missing. I now walk with purpose and gratitude in every waking moment. He got me out of the streets and into the Kingdom. I now have a career, out of a lifestyle I never thought I could escape, a great relationship with my entire family, peace of God, SALVATION and so much more because of Jesus. I was never looking for Him, but he was right there all along keeping me safe even when I didn’t know it. He left the 99 to come and get the 1 in me, and now I live my life entirely trusting in His plan and letting His will be done. This isn’t religion, this is relationship, with the King of kings and the Lord of lords and I pray my testimony helps any of the brothers and sisters out there who are feeling stuck, lost, and alone that there is more to life then the world you see around us. Nevada is being chosen for more than favorable taxes & legal gambling… While Nv is one of the most unchurched states in the Country make no mistake it is chosen for redemption, resurrecting, healing, wholesomeness, for Gods goodness and a rising of his Children. The enemy has no hold on our state.

Prayers & tears have been shed on the capitol grounds and will continue… @seanfeucht helped awaken Jesus Followers and many churches such as @convochurch & @calvaryrenosparks will continue to do the work in our city.

Territorial warfare is just as much spiritual as it appears physical.

Join us in person tomorrow at CONVO church in Reno, NV for advanced spiritual warfare training on taking territories as Jesus intended.

Almost 1 year ago, the men of Convo advanced their faith, families and church community in the honor and service of Jesus.

Now, we gather to take territory - to loose the bonds of wickedness, to break the yokes and chains that keep people bound and set the captives free of vices, addictions, witchcraft, trafficking and sexual confusion within the greater Reno area - all for the glory of Jesus.

We’ll try to livestream, but do your best to be there in person.

Two years ago, in 2023, Kiwanda Freddy answered God’s call to preach the Word and shepherd His people. He was ordained by Pastor @craigdyson of @convochurch to become the pastor of Redeemer Church Jinja, Uganda.

We give thanks to God for Freddy’s obedience and YES, which has led to many people in his community and around the world experiencing God’s love and redemption.

Redeemer Church Jinja is a vibrant, multi-generational, and multi-ethnic community where people from all walks of life find hope, healing, and purpose in Jesus Christ. Our mission is to make disciples by preaching the Gospel, building community, and serving our city.

We’re grateful for the incredible journey so far and excited for what’s to come! Here’s to many more years of serving God and our community.
