I’m looking forward to exploring the intersection of AI and human connection at WestEdge Design Fair with this diverse panel of experts. Josh Cooperman is outstanding at bringing together and moderating these conversations. Wellness in design has moved well beyond being a broad concept. There is now a deeper understanding that we can apply to our designs, utilizing AI while remaining conscious that the success of a project is ultimately about how people experience a space. Join us October 30th at 12:00PM with Josh Cooperman, Dr. Greg Brisson, Joshua Dawson, Kevin Toukoumidis / dSPACE Studio, & Rachel Joy Victor / Interphase. @convoxdesign @westedgedesign #westedge2026 #aianddesign #wellnessdesign #westedgedesignfair

Wellness isn’t an amenity anymore. It’s a requirement.

Whether we’re starting from the ground up or reworking an existing home, one request comes up more than any other: build in wellness. A home gym. A cold plunge. Steam shower, sauna, red light therapy. A yoga yard framed by calming views.

We see it with clients. We live it at home. Eddie’s own house, Villa Cali, is proof of concept, a gym, yoga yard, sauna, and steam shower woven into a retreat style residence.

These spaces used to be wish list add-ons. Now they’re the starting point.

Catch @eddiemaestri speaking about wellness on the WestEdge main stage October 29th.

Stay tuned for the full schedule of talks presented in partnership @pacificsales and @convoxdesign which releases this week.

Dolly Parton: A Retrospective on Kindness, Legacy, Unapologetic Authenticity and Strategic Genius
Beyond the pop-culture icon lies a masterclass in songwriting, radical empathy, and fiercely independent business acumen.
This episode opens with a heartfelt tribute following the passing of country music legend, philanthropist, and global icon Dolly Parton. Rather than repeating standard news network coverage, the hosts dive into the lesser-known aspects of her life, her business savvy, and her unique position in pop culture.
The discussion highlights how Dolly navigated massive crossover success without compromising her integrity, alienating her audience, or losing touch with her humble Appalachian roots. From writing timeless anthems to creating a multi-generational legacy of philanthropy, the hosts reflect on why her absence leaves an irreplaceable void across music and media.
