We catch up with Annette, a multiple-award-winning female bartender from Hero Bar, Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪, at the @accrabarweek and this conversation was one for the books.

From navigating the African bartending industry as a woman, to building a career that stands out, to the little-known geeks that can help you perform better in competitions… Annette dropped some gems that every aspiring bartender needs to hear.

And if you’re preparing for a world class cocktail competition, this might be the conversation you didn’t know you needed.

This is more than just bartending. It’s about confidence, preparation, resilience, and breaking boundaries in an industry that keeps evolving.

🎥 We only shared a glimpse here…
The full conversation is waiting for you on YouTube.

So, what are you waiting for? Hit that play button and hear from one of Africa’s talented women who is breaking boundaries and raising the bar.
