The formula is simple:
🥩 Thick-cut ribeye
🪵 45 minutes of smoke
🔥 Flame-kissed sear
🧈 Homemade compound butter
😍 Empty platter.

I was inspired to post this by my friend @braaiwitnessnews

I clean my grill once a month because I braai and smoke A LOT. 🔥

Ash and grease kill airflow, wreck temp control, and ruin clean smoke.

A clean @weberbraai burns hotter when it should, steadier when it must, and tastes better every single time. This is why I use @wynns_africa clean green.
This isn’t about looking good. It’s how you cook better. 🧼🔥

Reverse sear done properly 🔥🥩

2.5-inch porterhouse, bone-in ribeye and bone-in sirloin, low and slow in the @weberbraaisa over @intothewoods.za bourbon barrel chunks 🪵🥃🔥, then finished hot for that decadent crust 😮‍🔥. Rested, sliced, served medium rare 🤤 and finished with habanero and garlic–chipotle compound butter 🧈🌶️🧄.

Smoke. Fire. Butter. Perfection. 🔪🥩

If Mondays had a flavour, this would be it.
Ribeye. Stainless steel. Hard sear. Cooked in ghee. No excuses.
