POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our 18th BIG book sale is happening this week, October 22 to 25!

Here are all the details!

📍Once again, this year's sale is in the former Bamco warehouse at 440 Elmira Rd. N., this is the intersection of Elmira and Massey Road.

💸 This Thursday's admission for "early bird" preview day is $10 per person. The remainder of the sale days have free admission, and are as follows:

Thursday Oct 22: 2pm-8pm
Friday Oct 23: 2pm-8pm
Saturday Oct 24: 10am-4pm
Sunday Oct 25: 10am-4pm

🕸 Just in time for Halloween, we've added a Thriller section to adult fiction. All of the other familiar categories and genres are back, including the return of the popular "Canadian, eh?" collection.

👨‍👧‍👧 Let's not forget the kids - once again, due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, every child attending will receive a free book!

☕ Our cafe area will be available for light refreshments as pay by donation. It's a place to rest your feet, get a soft drink, and a light snack before resuming your shopping,

🚌 We encourage you to car pool with friends, or take the City's #20 NW - Industrial bus, which stops right beside Bamco on Massey Road.

➡ Please see our price list, floor plan and our FAQ at our link in bio.

Thanks for supporting @guelphpubliclibrary, we really appreciate everyone's support! ❤️

It's time for my favourite part of the bookbinding process. Making the covers and casing in. This is where it all comes together and the pretty caterpillar becomes the beautiful butterfly. Choosing from all of my gorgeous artisan papers and sorting through soft leather and suede hides to find the perfect case for my bound signatures (the sewn-up papers shown here).
Is my pile huge? OMG YES! Is that a good thing? Yes, because, although it represents many, many, many hours of work, it also reflects how many of you have chosen to support me and have taken one (or more!) of my books home with you. I am very grateful for your love and support- it means that I can stay in business and continue to do the things I love.
Look for me, PattiCake & Patrician, this Sunday from 11am-4pm at The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Market, hosted by the Sisters of Elderwood Grove, 475 Farms Road, Woodville, Kawartha.

Already have plans? How about NEXT Sunday, Oct. 25 1-6pm? We're going Down the Rabbit Hole at the Pavilion in Victoria Park, Kitchener, ON.

And so on. I will post upcoming markets shortly, as I am booked well into December.
