Some times you just know in your heart of hearts that someone is the right person for the job. That’s when I felt when I reached out to @coolhandluke54 (head chef of @josephinesgulfcoast and @foodandwine best new chef class of 2026) to see if he wanted to do a SUPER PIZZA FRIENDS collab. And boy was I right. Look, I get it, sometimes you want a refined Michelin starred pizza topped with seasonal flowers and cheeses you’ve never heard of, but sometimes you are hungry and watching the game and you JUST WANT A CHILI CHEESE DOG PIZZA! This is that pizza, as made by an amazingly talented chef. All beef hot dogs, ole Miss style chili, red onions, house pickled jalapeños, @grande.mozzarela baked until perfectly crispy on our 30 hour fermented dough and then topped with yellow mustard, shredded cheddar, and Fritos. Available today while supplies last! 100% of sales from this pie will go to support our friends @southernsmokefoundation

It’s our third edition of SUPER PIZZA FRIENDS Chef Collab, and for this round we’ve got our good friend @coolhandluke54 from @josephinesgulfcoast , hot off being named a @foodandwine Best New Chef 2026. When I called Lucas to ask what he wanted to do, he said, “You want fancy chef stuff or stoner pizza guy stuff?” and I said, “What do you think?” And boy, did he nail the assignment!

Introducing the chili cheese dog pizza with house-made hot dog-style chili, @grandecheese mozzarella, sliced weenies, red onions, and pickled jalapeños on our slow-fermented crust. Baked until perfectly crispy and then topped with shredded Tillamook cheddar, yellow mustard, and a shower of crispy Fritos. It’s like a pizza and a chili dog had a baby, and the baby was the most beautiful thing you’ve ever eaten. Spicy, but not too spicy. Filling, but not too filling. Somehow both way over the top yet also perfectly balanced. It’s available this Saturday (October 17th) for one day only while supplies last. $30, with 100% of sales going to benefit our friends at @southernsmokefoundation.

Big congrats to @coolhandluke54 on being included in the new class of @foodandwine Best New Chefs, so well deserved. Ate at @josephinesgulfcoast a few times and this is most of what we ate, forgot to photograph it all. Had to actively push ourselves to try some other spots while in town, but if we lived here we’d be regulars. Such a fun vibe and the food is killer, reach out to @chefjohnmanion if you don’t believe me. You love seeing great things happen to great people, and Luke and Josephine’s deserve all the attention they are getting.

Wow! I mean WOW! 2 MILLION $ raised for our industry! This one means a lot… @farmsteadchef and I got inducted in to the “Hall of Flame” representing all the hard work our team @longmeadowranch does to help promote the @southernsmokefoundation in CA! Thanks to @htownlindseybrown and @cshepherd13 and the whole staff for allowing us the opportunity to be apart of this family… here’s a few shots of all the great people we get to hang and cook with for the best cause ever… make it to the end of the pics to see if @daisynanryan approved of our dish 😜

I look forward to @southernsmokefoundation weekend every year and every year I wish I’d taken more pictures. I guess I’m too busy having fun and catching up with friends to remember to snap photos. My cup is full. I’m already looking forward to next year!!!! 💛💛💛💛💛
