When I look at my life through the lens of community it’s hard to look past the massive yellow highlighter lines covering my life. When I think about the gift of life and life to the full that God has ordained for me all I can think about is how i am so undeserving and yet I have been privileged and provided for. What a blessing it is to have a cup brimming with joy so constantly that the surface tension breaks and I have room to overflow and pour into others. This gift was brought into the light this morning at espresso news with my good friend cooper sizick where he shared the love that he’s found in his home community, the brig and how being around young men who chase after Christ ceaselessly has filled his cup day after day. I feel that way too and it’s impossible to ignore.
