Section 4 Friday in the Exo Zion Slalom small. Such a sick boat and I'm pretty sure I want one now. Thanks to @cooper.stults at @exokayakusa and Trey at the @chattooga_whitewater_shop for making it happen for the day. #chattoogariver #arcaworkshoneybadger #exozionslalom #goprohero13 #rivertrashmedia

Grateful for rain and an amazing weekend of kayaking! So thankful for the opportunity to see so many beautiful places while kayaking and be around such wonderful people! Thanks to my dad for showing the lines down the chattooga at the highest I’ve run it and thanks to @cooper.stults for showing me down the horse pasture for the first time! I love kayaking!

After 6 years the @tallulahrace rides again. What started as a loose plan @e_braun97 and I cooked up as we paddled across Tugaloo in fall of 2024 came to fruition a year later thanks to the help and support of a ton of folks.

Huge thanks to @thalongcreekboys for putting on the after party and awards ceremony. Timing and logistics would have been a hell of a lot looser if not for the support of @great_falls_foundation and @calhooose. Our safety leads @cooper.stults and @chedderjack_ crushed it at keeping racers safe and moving through the gorge. Thanks to @llulah_gorge volunteers for helping us out the morning of race day and of course, there would be no race if not for the folks at @tallulahgorgepark and Georgia Power who said yes.

I am so proud of the organizer team including Eric, myself, @lewis_mcwhirt (the fastest man in the gorge), and our shadowy partner out west @gordito_dan. Thanks to @meredithyook and @eryn_jacobson for watching my son while I got in a little race prep, the two stoutest babysitters in all the gorge. I wouldn’t have been able to put in as much work into this race as I did if not for the love and support of my wife @kimbobuice who graciously picked up the parenting slack when race work got in the way.

I am so grateful to all these folks and the dozens of others who made Tallulah Race 2025 possible. I can’t wait for 2026.
