Today I had my first collegiate league start against the Concord Zephyrs. Pitched 3 innings with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk.

Last night was one of the most meaningful graduations of my career.

When I first started as Officer L, these graduates were just kindergarteners. We were all a little younger then, and over the past 13 years, we’ve grown up together in so many ways. I’ve had the privilege of watching them learn, struggle, succeed, overcome obstacles, and become the incredible young adults they are today.

One of the greatest gifts of this job has been building relationships that extend far beyond the school day. I’ve been fortunate to form lifelong connections with many of these students and their families, sharing in their milestones, challenges, and accomplishments along the way.

As I looked around graduation last night, I couldn’t help but feel proud. Proud of who they have become, proud of how far they’ve come, and grateful that I got to be a small part of their journey.

To the Class of 2026: thank you for letting me walk alongside you for the last 13 years. Watching you grow into the young adults you are today has been an honor and a privilege. The future is bright, and I have no doubt each of you will accomplish amazing things.❤️🎓

Today we have TWO Players of the game. Braden McCormack threw 3 innings of one hit ball with 5 K’s and no runs. Cooper Conklin finished the game with 3 innings of no hit ball striking out 8!
