Now that I have a chance to breathe, let me tell you about my year so far. I was in THREE (3) choirs, each one scratching a different itch:

1. I sang with C4, a truly concrete group for me (I joined on my fourth day in NYC!), and I had the honor of premiering my second choir piece, We Speak Lorem Ipsum, with them. Here’s a snippet from a comically glitchy livestream!

2. I sang at Christ Church Bronxville, with the most packed Holy Week of my life. Seven services, mostly chants and psalms, all incredibly beautiful. Here’s me singing the role of Jesus (this will not go to my head).

3. I sang with the Empire City Men’s Chorus for their Winter Conductor Institute, as well as their Gun Mass cycle, where this clip is from. Truly devastating music surrounding gun violence and its victims. I’ve never been more choked up during a choir concert.

Easter ended with the debut concert of my band Copilots, opening for and performing with Sofia Frohna! I’m still on cloud nine.

And throughout all this, I’ve been surrounded by tons of friends and family who showed up for me and gave me excuses to further explore this neat city. And I forgot to photograph most of it! How lucky I am to pursue my dreams with a fantastic support system pulling me through.

Love you all!
