On this episode of @pod.intotheunknown I sit down with Andre “Sleepy” Williams Jr. @sleepy.era to explore his unexpected journey from chasing a professional football career to discovering a new opportunity in rugby. After injuries disrupted his path toward the NFL, Andre received an email about playing rugby, an opportunity he initially dismissed before deciding to put his pride aside, take a chance, and drive to Florida to pursue a sport he knew almost nothing about. Andre shares how that decision launched a rugby career that has taken him from the United States to Australia and into the world of Rugby Sevens. Sumo and Andre discuss adapting when your original plan changes, recognizing unexpected opportunities, believing in yourself, and having the courage to pursue a new dream even when you don’t know where it will lead. https://linktr.ee/pod.intotheunknown Or watch: https://youtu.be/Sh6K7EBXvGE?si=V_GARS9VqisCtCe6

Introduced my son to this Golf thing and he almost killed us (TWICE) attempting to drift a golf cart. Amazing day at the Atlanta Old White MAC FITCH Golf Tournament. Love how Brent Coles and Bryan Reski took to coaching my son. Awesome rugby uncles. #gratitude #BlackRhino Representing @atlantarugby @kyrossports @kyrossportsusa @copperheadsrlfc

Every rugby club in Georgia, one page: 44 active clubs are live in the Find a Club directory at therugbyradar.com/clubs. Youth and high school to college, senior men and women to touch and all-star sevens. Filter by division and region or search by name, and every listing is verified against the club's own site and socials. The math: 7 youth and high school clubs, 13 college sides, 21 senior clubs, and 3 ways to play that skip the tackling or chase the sevens circuit. On the first screens of the swipe: @athens_eagles_rugby, @2.0selects, @atlantabucksrfc, @copperheadsrlfc, @ahwrfc, @highcountryrugbyfc, @highcountrywrfc, @atlantarugby, and community partner @rebels_rugby_youthga. The other 35 are on the page. Pre-season is the window. Pick your lane, hit the club's link, show up to a practice. Plenty of these clubs recruit people who have never touched a rugby ball. Missing a club we should know about? therugbyradar.com/submit-club. We verify it, we list it, it joins the directory, the calendar, and the Tuesday issue. Free. Is your club on the page? #GeorgiaRugby #AtlantaRugby #YouthRugby #WomensRugby #CollegeRugby @athens_eagles_rugby, @2.0selects, @atlantabucksrfc, @copperheadsrlfc, @ahwrfc, @highcountryrugbyfc, @highcountrywrfc, @atlantarugby, @rebels_rugby_youthga @georgiarugbyunion @usarugby @usaclub.rugby @usasouthrugby.women @usasouthrugbymens @usarugbysouth

Georgia rugby sponsorships are open, and charter rates start at $100. The Rugby Radar covers every club in the state free, every Tuesday. The big spots are now for sale: a branded club card in Find a Club is $100 for a full year, a Featured Club spot on the front page is $100 a month, your name on the Tuesday issue is $100, and a whole division section can be presented by you for $200 a month, one sponsor per section. Every charter rate locks through December 31, 2026, then prices rise. Every dollar goes back into covering Georgia rugby. And coverage stays free either way, that part is permanent. Who deserves the top of the front page? Tag them. 👇 🔗 therugbyradar.com/sponsor (link in bio) #GeorgiaRugby #AtlantaRugby #SavannahRugby #YouthRugby
